About Us
Living Joy Faith Center, a Spirit-filled Christian church in Bakersfield, was founded in 2006. We are genuine and active in our Christian faith and enthusiastic in building lives, families and relationships, that will affect our community and the world. Teaching a message that will strengthen a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. Our church believes what the Bible says and we're convinced that it is the answer for every age and need.
Our Pastors grew up spiritually gleaning on the ministry of Kenneth Copeland, Jerry Savelle, Kenneth Hagin Sr., and Oral Roberts ministries. Learning the Bible principles of Faith, Healing, Blessing, and Hope.
As a Holy-Spirit filled, non-denominational Bible teaching church, we help people find the fortitude to 'get through' tough times. Our aim is to help those that have been hurt or wounded from bad relationships or circumstance, recover. Through the ministry in our children's departments as well as the adult services, we purpose to teach principles that will help strengthen families.
Our children's programs are instrumental in teaching God's Word on a level that's relatable and understandable to today's life. The Nursery/Preschool Department teaches babies up through preschoolers basic Bible stories showing God's love for them. We are developing the Children's Church which will endeavor to instruct children in Bible principles that encourages right choices and right living.
We invite you to embark on the journey of growing a body of believers developing a closer relationship with Jesus Christ, learning how to enjoy the benefits of our rightful inheritance, and becoming equipped in sharing our faith with others. We guarantee you will receive prayer, encouragement and spiritual support on this journey as we walk together 'pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ.'
